A man and bis friend were about to putt on a green next to a country road


About that time a funeral procession came up the road. The man removed his hat and stood respectfully until the last car disappeared over a hill in the distance. His friend said how impressed he was as nothing had ever seemed more important than golf. The man began to line up his putt, saying, "It was the least I could do. Next week we would have been married 30 years."
